Are you tired of shaving or waxing to get ready of body hair? Do you want something that lasts a lot longer? Then Laser Hair Removal may be for you.

Many women these days are opting for laser hair removal, not only because the hair do not come back as fast as other methods, but also because it makes a much more smoother skin.

Contrary to what many may think, laser hair removal does not permanently remove hair, but it reduces hair and slows new hair growth. Here is how exactly it works: a laser is pulsed on the skin for a fraction of a second, which emits a beam of light that converts into heat as it passes harmlessly through the skin. This heat is absorbed by the pigment melanin in the hair shaft and follicle, which reduces growth of new hair.

Just be aware that laser hair removal does not work on white and grey hair. Blonde and red hair is also difficult to remove. The best candidates are those with light skin and dark hair.

Hair can be removed via laser anywhere on the body except eyelashes. Even eyebrows can be removed via laser, but it is not recommended and many doctors will refuse to do so due to the closeness to the eye.
